Shoppers Drug Mart #222 (Vancouver) negotiations begin

The Union Negotiating Committee for Shoppers Drug Mart store #222 (Vancouver) presented proposals to the employer on August 27 and 28 for improvements to the Collective Agreement.

Discussion related to settlements reached at other unionized Shoppers Drug Mart stores occurred after the Union's presentation. Then negotiations were adjourned to allow the employer's committee to review the proposals and respond.

We expect to meet again with the Employer in mid-September. After the next round of talks we will inform you of any developments from these negotiations.
