Sunrise Poultry fire under control; no injuries reported

UFCW 1518 members employed at Sunrise Poultry in Surrey had their day disrupted by an early morning fire at the plant.

There have been no injuries reported. Production at the poultry-processing plant is halted at this time. There is no indication when production will resume, pending an inspection of the plant that is currently taking place.
