Community Health Talks Continue

4:40 PM - Talks between the HEABC and the Community Bargaining Association continued most of the day Friday and will continue into the evening.

While none of the Union’s proposals have been signed off as agreed to, agreement in principle has been reached on a number of issues.

“We have taken the position from the beginning of these talks”, says Local 1518 President Ivan Limpright, “that as long as the talks are positive and moving in the right direction we will continue to bargain towards an agreement.”

It is expected that talks will also continue Saturday if they are needed.
