Urban Fare Members: submit your contract proposals online!

January 27, 2010

The Urban Fare Collective Agreement expires March 31, 2010, and the union is now gathering member’s proposals on improvements members would like to see to their Urban Fare contract.

Proposal forms have already been mailed to all members, and Urban Fare members can also now submit your proposals online! (See below)

“It’s important Urban Fare members take a few moments to think about what improvements they want to see in their contract,” says Ivan Limpright, President of UFCW 1518. “Contract negotiations are where we have the opportunity to make real improvements to the contract, so I encourage you to talk about what you’d like to see improved with your co-workers, talk about the issues you face every day on the job, and fill out the proposal form so those issues can be brought to the bargaining table.”

Please submit all proposals by February 12, 2010.

When completing the online proposals form, please note that you must fill out and complete the form where it asks for your name and store number.

In addition, please identify the Section number of the Collective Agreement to which the proposal applies (if known).
