Meat Cutter Scholarships Available for UFCW 1518 Members

UFCW 1518 will be funding scholarships for members interested in a nine-month meat cutting and retail meat processing program at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops. Thompson Rivers University will administer selection of the scholarship winners.

The next program starts in August 2010 with an application deadline of June 30. Members are welcome to apply for this scholarship February through May 2010.

Those who are selected will have their full tuition, tools and supplies paid for by the union.
