WorkSafeBC Inspection Report for H&S Committee Representatives
February 24, 2010
WorksSafeBC’s Inspection report requires the employer to ensure all workers are fully trained in the procedures for using hazardous chemical products. It also requires the employer not to use this product when workers with chemical sensitivity or exposure symptoms are on shift.
Please check that Block Whitener and other hazardous cleaning products are safely stored and no workers are exposed to these solutions without proper protection. We want to give thanks to our hardworking H&S Committee Worker Co-chair and Executive Board H&S Chair, Sherry Earl, for ensuring these WorkSafeBC instructions were given to the employer.
