Negotiations Underway for Members at Port Alberni Co-op

Negotiations for the UFCW 1518 members employed at Port Alberni Co-op began on February 23 and February 24th.

The Union Negotiating Committee and employer exchanged proposals. As is typical of most contract negotiations, non-monetary issues are being addressed first, with some progress being made on non-monetary items.

Further dates for negotiations are now scheduled for March 16 and 17th, and another negotiations update will be posted on the union website following that round of negotiations.
