UFCW Pension Plan Changes Administrator

The UFCW Union Pension Plan has had a change in administration. The BG Benefit Administrators Inc. (BG) will take over as the Plan Administrator for the UFCW Union Pension Plan (the Plan), effective April 1, 2010.

In 2009, the Plan Trustees, with the assistance of their professional advisors, conducted a full review of the Plan’s administration and agreed that the time was right to make this change.

The toll free number to contact the Administrator by phone has not changed and remains 1-888-345-UFCW (8329). 

The new contact information for the Administrator is as follows:

If you have recently received a retirement or termination package from the former Plan Administrator (Mercer), please return your completed paperwork to BG at the new mailing address above. But don’t worry if you recently sent something to the former address; arrangements have been made to forward all mail to BG’s offices.
