Clearbrook Grain & Milling Members Ratify New Contract

On April 28, UFCW 1518 members at Clearbrook Grain & Milling in Abbotsford ratified the terms for a new collective agreement.

The highlights of the new four-year agreement include: 

• $1000 signing bonus for the majority of members effective July 1, 2010 in the first year;
• 2% wage increase in the second year;
• 2 ¾% wage increase in the third and fourth year.

The Union Negotiating Committee is Richard Ram and Gary Zurowski, assisted by Larry Turner (Union Representative).
