Peoplesoft payroll mess continues to batter members

UFCW 1518 members working at Safeway continue to suffer through their employer’s incompetence in dealing with the Peoplesoft payroll disaster that has made a mess of union members’ payroll records since last summer. 

Despite the company’s signed agreement and assurances they would address and fix the multitude of errors they have made with members’ payrolls, the union continues to receive complaints from members about serious mistakes on everything from vacation pay, sick banks, ATO banks, Clerk II benefits, etc.

As reported earlier, the union has filed a grievance over Safeway’s breach of the settlement agreement the company signed in February to supposedly resolve the Peoplesoft mess.

Safeway members who suspect something is not right with their payroll records have the right to ask Safeway to conduct a thorough investigation and provide you with a detailed breakdown of your payroll records.
