THE CAMPAIGN IS GROWING! YOU CAN HELP!!

The campaign to expand the Canada Pension Plan and win “Retirement Security for everyone" continues to grow and pick up speed. The Canadian Labour Congress has printed over a million leaflets and trained activists to begin a cross-Canada workplace canvass. In the coming weeks, thousands of working people will learn that there's a better way to help everyone save more for retirement and will be invited to join with you to tell our politicians that it's time to change the CPP to make it happen.

UFCW Canada has started an internet campaign so you can show your support. By going to www.ufcw.ca/retirementsecurity you can send a letter to your provincial Minister of Finance asking them to act now to ensure that improvements to the Canada Pension Plan are a priority. The letter will automatically be sent to the Premier and to Federal Finance Minister Jim Flaherty.

Watch for the leaflet with the big red dice that says:

"NO MORE GAMBLING WITH YOUR RETIREMENT SECURITY!"
