Shoppers Wholesale (Prince George) negotiations begin

Bargaining for a new collective agreement is underway for UFCW 1518 members employed at Shopper’s Wholesale foods in Prince George.

Negotiations took place on June 28, 29, and 30, and as is customary, the Union Negotiating Committee and the employer exchanged proposals to begin negotiations. As typically occurs in negotiations, non-monetary items will be discussed first prior to discussing any monetary items.

The Union Negotiating Committee and the employer have reached agreement on some non-monetary items. Further dates to continue negotiations will be scheduled shortly.
