SEEDS Votes YES To Joining UFCW 1518

Staff at the Self-Employment and Entrepreneur Development Society (SEEDS) came to a unanimous vote in favour of joining UFCW 1518. SEEDS is a registered non-profit society that has supported more than 1,800 people since 1997 in entering the self-employment and entrepreneur domain.

As UFCW’s newest union members, SEEDS staff now has an even stronger support team that will stand behind them so they can better fulfill their mission "to support the development of entrepreneurs and the growth of businesses."

This is a very exciting time for UFCW, as SEEDS is the first organization of its kind to become a part of Local 1518. “I would like to welcome our newest members to UFCW 1518,” says Ivan Limpright, President of UFCW 1518. “Joining UFCW means SEEDS will have a union that will support its members as they continue to make a difference for entrepreneurs and for those who are self-employed.”
