UFCW 1518 and Overwaitea Foods Group (OFG) are proud to announce the winners of the first Diversity & Training Trust Scholarships. Scholarships have been awarded to six outstanding members who have demonstrated their support and commitment for diversity in their community, their school, and/or their workplace. UFCW 1518 and OFG continue this joint initiative, and long-standing dedication to education, by awarding each recipient $2,500.00 that will go towards their post secondary education.

The UFCW & OFG Joint Diversity and Training Trust Scholarship is open to UFCW Local 1518 members with at least one year of service with OFG, or their dependents, who are pursuing a post-secondary program. This scholarship is open to applicants in all stages of their education, from high school graduates to those with many years of experience in the workplace
