Union fights for full terms of contract at Save-On-Foods store on quarterly review
UFCW 1518 continues the fight to restore members working at the Save-On-Foods on Main St in Vancouver to the full terms of the collective agreement. Health care conference takes the pulse
UFCW 1518 will hold a conference for members working in the community health and social services sector May 6-9 at the Sheraton Guilford in Surrey, BC. Government appoints special officer in Sobeys dispute
British Columbia’s Minister of Labour Harry Bains has appointed Vince Ready as special officer in the dispute between UFCW 1518 and Sobeys, owner of about 60 Safeway stores across the province. Employer must pay ICBC fee: Arbitrator

Save-On-Foods bargaining moves toward monetary
UFCW 1518 met with Overwaitea Food Group last week as negotiations for the reopener of the collective agreement continued.
